Strength

Salam

Strength is not in the number of foes you knock down
Its not in the cast iron weights that you bench
Neither is it the the egos you shatter
Nor the hearts that you break

Strength is knowing when to back off amidst fuming anger
Its resisting the wrong tempations
Its stepping back after starting a wrongful fight
Its stepping forward, hands raised admitting a fault
Its apologising after committing a mistake
Its lowering your ego to a lesser party
Keeping calm despite the raging emotions inside

  1. So true. Having such 'strength' is far better than having the strength equal to 10/100 men. But to have both is the best.
