Random thought

(iftar: shot of a low tide at Medan Ikan Bakar, Kuala Perlis)

Today as I sat in the pelvis and perineum lecture, I had a thought.
I realised my life is too short to be filled with regrets, fights and sadness.
Maybe I should start enjoying life a little more. =) but i've forgotten how to.
At least I love medicine. Even if my surroundings are dead and bring me grim and sorrow,
At least medicine won't fail me.

Who's up for football next wednesday? Medsports 1st event of the year bebeh!!!!!
Bring it onnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!

Selamat Tinggal

It was eerily quiet. The hum of the engine was hardly audible.
It really is amazing how far technology has come.
Running at 160kmph, the vibrations of the tyres were clearly felt
My imaginative mind raced faster than the engine
The vibration of the tyres transferred through the suspensions
Up the wishbone and drive shafts.

But my imagination made me enjoy the ride
Each vibration I imagined as the pistons pumping hard
Up and down with the increase of RON 97 fuel injection
It made me feel in power, I really enjoyed it
But the quietness due to the acoustic insulation was unbearable
It was like being in a speech therapist's room
With sound absorbing panels lining the walls
It made your ears feel like they are going to pop outwards

But Lucy broke the silence.
I'm gonna miss her I guess
My brief 2months with her, helped me a lot
I learnt new things, help me find my way
But thats life, all that meet must part

Selamat tinggal Malaysia

Passerby

Maybe I'm just a passerby. Maybe, just maybe.
As I walked holding a jar of home made delicacies
I saw a chubby little girl who I knew used to be less chubby
They call her ustazah rock
She ran around in circles, chased by a male comrade
I was now a stranger, because she didnt flicker at the sight of me

A few yards further,
A little girl ran home into her front porch
And yelled to her mother, calling her out
In the darkness, I saw a sillhoutte of a person
Long flocks of hair, slightly longer than her shoulders
Wavy hair affixed to a reasonably large frame
And then I heard a familiar voice
The same voice that yelled to me telling me to go straight
Rather than trying to back into the school's gate
Oh, that was another occasion anyway

Then I saw a lanky face, shirtless and skinny
The same face who used to ride his bike to school
He was older now, with a much more growly voice
I remembered his voice used to be small for his size
Well, its been 2years I guess
I shook his hand and swapped greetings
That was all there is

Lastly, the boys brother popped out at the door frame
He was the same person driving the innova
And also in the same position I last saw him
Next to his mother, back from the butcher's
He raised his hand, maybe he still recognises me
I raised my hand and walked off

Thats my story for today
As you lay there, trying to make sense of my post
I'm already thinking of putting up a new one
Maybe about who I see tomorrow
I just feel like I have to write, regardless of what

The Journey

I don't think life is about an end product.
I believe it is a journey, more on how you got to the end.

Today is a gift, thats why its called the present.

Whats real?

Salam
Some things are real, some are not

Real:
1. watching Q play futsal
2. Alep n papar are to be firefly pilots come October
3. Hamid getting his wish granted by Bank Negara
4. You being there for me. =)

Not real:
1. Her
2. My dream of saving up money for my future
3. Breaking fast with my batchmates
4. The thought of home when your overseas
5.Hoping your scholarship allowance has been banked into your account when they've notified you payment will be made at a later date.

This matter has hit me hard, but I'm happy now that I've taken my stand. It takes courage to do that, and I was a coward for a long time. Its about time I live life fully, though you learnt to live only half alive. Towards a better future! After endless experiences, I hope I'm more matured, see what I need and not just what I want, what is there for me and appreciate them, live life to the fullest as if tomorrow will be my last day. I will give my all, for I am named the sincere one. Safe journey to all those returning to their educational institutions and may we meet again for summer has come to an end. See you soon!

Selamat mencari lailatulqadar.

Step Up

Salam

When life throws you challenges, all you have to do is to step up to the plate and dance your way through. And thats exactly what I will try to do. Shall we dance?
