Theres a sea out there

Salam

I found Dr Graham Law's lecture today particularly interesting.

"Epidemiology is not at a standstill yet. The body of knowledge is growing and is not definite. We take for granted knowing that high salt intake causes hypertension, when this knowledge was discovered in recent times. Hippocrates didn't know this. In time, people might say 'its obvious that carpets are bad for health! how could they have not known that!'. Thats how epidemiology is today, a neverending sea of knowledge..."

The carpet example was an extreme, but he got his point through. Allah has only opened to us a glimpse of his knowledge, yet we look at the sky and live as if the world is ours. Subhanallah!

ps: insyaAllah, will work hard to ensure that the 16th of June will pass with ease in Allah's grace.
