Selamat pengantin baru kepada kak wah dan kak manar kerana alhamdulillah berjaya mendirikan rumahtangga yg telah sekian lama berkumandang di telinga ni. hehehe, dua2 kakak2 ni style, kak wah lps kecewa dgn boyfriend lama yg familynya rasa mereka tidak sekufu, selamat diijabkabulkan dgn abg Shark. 1st met abg shark masa kuar dinner dgn dia kt shah alam masa gi tdo kt umah kak wah.

kak manar plak, bkn jenis yg semangat boyfriend2 ni. dia chill gila, life happy ja. tarak pening kepala, tunggang terbalik, tangis ngamuk sbb boyfriend. Skali kenal, pinang, terus kawin. baru brp bulan dia kenal dgn abg fairuz. aku pon x penah jumpa siapa abg fairuz ni. yg penting dia org baik2, tahfiz Quran. bkn nk kata abg shark x baik, alhamdulillah sama2 baik. selamat insyaAllah kakak2 aku ni dunia akhirat.

Its gonna be awkward nnt, blk umah n jumpa org yg x kenal dlm rumah sendiri. kakak2 dh tarak dh nk sembang selamba badak dgn diorg. rasa mcm xda la lama sgt tinggalkan umah nk mai UK blajaq medic, tp mcm2 dh jd. tuh la nama dia takdir.

The highlight wasnt these two couples, but it was about my friend Dino. This guy drove alone from Ipoh to Jitra, to attend a wedding supposedly as a guest. Dino has known my family for 7 years now, from going for a canoe session at the tasik to barbecue sama2 kt porch umah. Mama n kak muna (3rd elder sis) citer, semua org mcm pelik, sapa mamat ni. ada skali dgn family, bz buat gheja, tlg2 semua tp sedara mara lain x kenal pon. ladies n gents, i introduce you a friend as good as a blood brother to me, abdul mualim shah abd rani a.k.a. Dino. I feel bad for not being there, not being able to help one bit apart from calling home at evey chance i get and also getting mad wif Kak manar sbb x check skype bley guna ke x which was dysfunctional on the day of the kenduri. sorry ye kak, u might only get married once, n i thought it was a huge miss not to be there.

The best moment i remembered about u Dino was the incident at New Hostel, way back in koleq 2002. You were trying to get some rambutans from the tree in front of the dobi house. unfortunately, besi almari yg ko baling tuh pantul kt dahan n came straight back dead on in the middle of your forehead. org lain semua mcm hrm, buat blank n cuak. i dont remember how i got involved, ada org panggil or you were walking back to new hostel with blood all over your forehead n face. 1st thing i did was slap my hand on ur forehead to stop the bleed. pastu aku suro ko buka baju leman ko, pakaikan tshirt yg aku pakai. using ur tshirt which was already drenched in blood, aku suro ko letak kt dahi ko n press hard on it. n then they took you to pondok guard ke apa ntah. that was funny tho, nk amek rambutan pnye psl! hahahaha.

My absence was filled with dino's presence. masa kak wah nk nikah, ada brg tertinggal, dino juga hntr ke msjd. gas masak abeh, dino gi beli. ni x kena, dino ada. tuh x kena, dino ada. serious aku terharu, bkn sbb dia buat baik je, but the fact that my absence was filled by a person as good as next of kin. What touched me was when Dino's tears streamed down his cheeks watching ayah finally letting her go to her husband, the great Prof Bulat himself in tears not to mention his first born too. even I might not have cried that day but Dino did, a patch of purity still in him despite being in this horrid world for 22 years.

In a way, i feel grateful that my absence did not create trouble or difficulties for the family during the walimah. cos there was always another brother stepping up to the plate, my good man dino. Thanks again man. I just cant thank you enough.
